ESO Summer Camp - Adult Summer Camp in Erie, PA

ESO Summer Camp is for young adults with intellectual disabilities.

Expanding Social Opportunities (ESO) at the Barber National Institute offers an innovative summer recreation day camp designed for individuals ages 18 and older with autism or intellectual disabilities.

The 2025 ESO Summer Camp season will run June 23 - August 1 (We will be closed July 4). The hours of operation are 9 am to 2 pm. held at the Barber National Institute.

2025 ESO Camp Application

This is an adult summer camp for adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities. If assistance is needed to support physical, medical and/or behavioral needs, an aide, Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS), or nurse must be present at all times with your camper. Our main priority is the safety of the campers.

Campers can attend the program for any part of the session, but must attend at least one full week. Applications will be accepted based on whether the camp is an appropriate match for the camper. There are limited spaces available. Families will be notified of their acceptance.
