Warren Autism Event
The Bollinger Campus of the Barber National Institute and Barber Behavioral Health will join organizations in the Warren-Forest region for an Autism Awareness Event on Thursday, April 7. The event will take place at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell Street in Warren, from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
A series of presentations will be held throughout the day on various topics relating to autism. At 2 p.m., Kimberly Nowell, program manager of the Barber Bollinger Campus will discuss day and community employment programs for adults, and Cecilia Hollands, associate director of Barber Behavioral Health programs, will address family-based mental health programs in the Warren area.
The event is family-oriented with resources and informational displays about resources in the community.
Admission is free of charge.
