Tournament Raises $7,000 Donation

Proceeds raised from the 2017 Stormin’ Norman Boetger Memorial Golf Tournament will help support services for children and adults with disabilities and behavioral health challenges at the Barber National Institute. Tim Boetger, left and Norm Boetger Jr., second from left, Norm Boetger’s sons and tournament organizers, presented a check for $7,000 to John Barber, president and chief executive officer of the Barber National Institute, and Laura Schaaf, director of Giving. Since the Tournament began in 2011, more than $29,500 has been donated to the Barber Foundation. The event is held in memory of Boetger, an active community volunteer and supporter of the Barber National Institute who passed away in 2011.
