Runner's Club Donates $7,000 from Mother's Day Race

Erie Runner's Club Donates $7,000

Thanks to the Erie Runner's Club for a $7,000 donation from the Mother's Day Race! This year’s event was held on Sunday, May 12 at Presque Isle State Park.  More than 500 participants gathered for a ½ mile walk that was wheelchair, walker, stroller, and seeing-eye dog friendly, as well as a 5K timed fun run.  The Erie Runner's Club has donated a total of $21,000 to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation over the past three years. We are grateful for the support of the Erie Runners Club 2013 and all of the runners and walkers who participated!
