Crazy Hats and Goofy Hair -- It's Dr. Seuss Week!
If Mayor Joe Sinnott ran a zoo, he might have a "Fizza-ma-Wizza-ma-dill, the world's biggest bird from the island of Gwark who only eats pine trees and spits out the bark."
And while he ran his zoo, County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper might go fishing and catch a few colorful fish with a few of her friends from the Barber National Institute.
This week has been all about Dr. Seuss as we celebrate his many writings and interesting ideas. We started tame on Monday with red shirt day, but quickly got silly with crazy hat day on Tuesday and goofy hair day on Wednesday. We've also had guest readers to come read our classrooms some of Dr. Seuss' finest works. Guest readers have included Sinnott, Dahlkemper, the United Way's R.J. Zonna, and many others we owe our thanks and gratitude to.
Check out our photos of crazy hats and goofy hair, and keep posted for crazy pants day on Thursday and mix match day on Friday!
