Barber Beast on the Bay Named All-Star Destination Partner
Erie, PA (Feb. 22, 2024) - Barber Beast on the Bay, along with the Erie Sports Commission, has earned yet another national nod as the Best Long-Term Partnership Between Planner and Destination in SportsEvents Media Group in 2023. The national poll is voted on by members of the sports tourism industry each year.
Barber Beast on the Bay is the only event in the country that has a one-mile adaptive course for adults with intellectual disabilities. The event has raised over $700,000 for the Barber National Institute since its inception in 2013.
In 2023 the Barber Beast on the Bay attracted over 1,000 participants from across the country.
