This intensive, short-term, 15-day therapeutic program is designed for children and teens ages 5-18 who are experiencing a behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric challenge. Acute PHP is intended for children and youth as a step down from inpatient care or as a means of preventing inpatient hospitalization. Clients can receive Acute PHP services up to the age of 21 if they are in school and have an IEP.
